Remember this from pre-Wii days? It’s the illusive title, Project Hammer. Nintendo were advertising it quite a bit in Nintendo Power, online, and even their own montages at E3, but it never came to fruition.

Apparently there was a problem with the A.I, processors, and even the motion controls. The motion control issue was remedied with the wii motion plus, but Nintendo felt that it was too late in the game try to release it for Wii according to our source.

Instead, it will be released on the Wii U with improved graphics, AI, and the option to play with the Wii remote plus. Given that the idea of it being made for wii U isn’t completely farfetched, it is possible that this may be true. E3 2012 is just weeks away. What do you think?

I wish she would join the Straw Hat crew. She’s a fun interesting character to have around, and who could forget that laugh?
